Clear Blue Skies

I have to say I didn’t expect that clear blue skies would fit into my live favourites after a listen to the website ,its not that I didn’t think the songs stood up, (to the contrary) its just that they appeared a bit west coast for me. Think steely Dan meets slower ZzTop. however, live they are a different kettle of the wotsits, they have more of a 'in the woods' feel, you know the band that would be on the riverbank in 'deliverance‘, with a presence to match.

Sounding as if they started playing together at the infant class, they slide out catchy deep south rock with the vocals soaring over them.. pearl jam sung by Mario Lanza!! time to break open the southern comfort!!
